Toutes mes excuses, mais j'ai bisoins de repondre en anglais...peut etre quelquon peut traduire:

Many trainers are in financial trouble because they charge pensions that can't possibly cover the costs in an effort to attract owners. These trainers are not helping anyone - neither the owners, who then have a mistaken idea of how much it costs to train a horse - or the trainers themselves, who then find themselves unable to pay the bills.

The price of training a horse in Maisons-Laffitte or Chantilly MUST be at least 50 euros a day, and if a trainer offers to do it for less, they are cutting corners somewhere and bills are going unpaid. No serious owners should have any confidence in a trainer charging less than that. If an owner can't afford to pay for proper training, he or she should NOT be an owner.

Trainers and owners looking to shave costs and cut corners are hurting the entire racing industry. I have plenty of sympathy for all of us who are working hard to stay in business, but I have no sympathy for a trainer who complains of being in financial difficulty after taking horses into training at below-market prices.

Trainers also need to be selective in the horses they accept. A talented horse each just as much as the one who always finishes last!
